Susan has lived in Bozeman for 35 years. Things have changed a lot around Bozeman, but she still really loves it here. Susan moved here as a sophomore when her dad took a teaching position at MSU. Susan later graduated from Bozeman Senior High and then Montana State University earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. After working in various Administrative and Accounting positions, she realized that she wanted to use her skill set in a workplace that has the mission of helping others – especially in the behavior health field. Susan started this new journey at Alcohol and Drug Service, where she was in charge of insurance billing and various Administrative duties. Although Susan loved her job at ADSGC, when the Billing Specialist position opened at Providence Mental Health and she read about the family-focused, strength-based counseling, Susan knew it would be a great next step in her commitment to being part of a team that helps others in need.
Away from work, Susan enjoys spending time with family, walking her dogs, gardening, and watching football – especially the Minnesota Vikings. Susan’s family loves getting together for a big home-cooked meal, camping, fishing or any of the other outdoor offerings found in our beautiful State. Susan has also recently started making floral arrangements using flowers from her garden and teapots or other items found while thrift shopping. Additionally, Susan has two wonderful grandchildren who make life extra fun!
