Jodie Sipes is a licensure candidate in clinical Social Work. She currently works as a therapist, for all ages, in Providence’s Strengths program. Jodie received her undergraduate degree in Applied Psychology from Montana State University, in 2009 and received her Master of Social Work degree from Walla Walla University-Billings in 2019. She has worked in both the private practice and non-profit realms. Her background includes work with sexual assault and child abuse survivors as a counselor/advocate and as a behavior specialist, working with children with severe emotional disturbances. She has experience working with children, adults, individuals, couples and families. Jodie is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy and has training in EMDR. In addition, she has completed Level 1 training in the Gottman’s Method for couples. Jodie believes her work is a collaborative effort. She focuses on encouraging hope and fostering resilience while working to help others overcome trauma and adversity.
